La Marciana Rioja Alma de la Marciana

Deep ruby red with purple red brim. Nose is pleasant, generous, with plenty of dark fruit and notes of plums, mulberries, prunes and a touch of licorice. Mouthfeel is generous, fruity, has nice balance, with velvet soft tannins, good acidity and notes of plums, mulberries, prunes and some licorice, with a long and appealing aftertaste. Organic and biodynamic wine from mainly old vine grenache with some tempranillo and graciano. Full bodied and rich, yet well balanced, good stuff!
