Every bottle of this really delivers. A blend of 80%Syrah and 20%Grenache. The dark fruit still comes through strong with a reasonable length. Anybody who like GSM or southern Rhone wines should love this for the price. Not readily available so if you find it you really must try. This comes from a ‘small’ family business that now makes over 2,000,000 bottles But this is from a plot at 1300 ft near their Chateau and shows what they can do.

So satisfying. Great nose of dark fruit, smooth and mid-full bodied just enough tannin to stop the wine being a fruit bomb. So pleased I purchased a few cases. A steal at the price. Can enjoyed equally with or without food. Particular good with cheese

Served at 19c with a 2 hour decant. Perfect with Duck confit. Dark Fruit in the mouth a little roundness with resolves tannin followed with gentle sous bois. Medium length. Amazing QPR

Just proved how important temperature is to the enjoyment of a wine. PNP & Decanted on first day at about 21/22c flabby, ordinary nothing very enjoyable for this Southern Rhone blend from Corbieres. 2nd night served at about 18c totally enjoyable. A little fruit on the nose, smooth entry with a medium body hints of those dark fruits and flavours from the forest floor. Altogether a more positive experience delivering great QPR. 84/90
