Drink More Riesling (K&L Wine Merchants, Hollywood) : Brilliant, pale lemon color. Striking aromas of fresh grapefruit and quince, with notes flint, petrol, and peach blossom. Tangy and succulent fruit flavors, tending toward lime flesh, along subtle secondary fresh herbs and soil minerality. Light to medium on the palate, round in density, racy acid and ample finishing depth. Very nice.

Light yellow. Reduction and lime on the nose. Middle weight. Maybe a hint of RS, powerful, good acidity, some citrus, but this is mostly about the soil. Very good.

Clear and transparent in hue. Classic Riesling on the nose, with apple, saline, petrol, and orange zest. Palate adds peach, minerals, and mushroom, with high acidity and a long finish. Zip and zest. Perfect for appetizers or seafood.

Excellent wine with floral, dust, apricots, lemons, mild spice and minerals. Medium plus finish. Very complex wine.

Pours a light pale straw color with some green reflections and crystal clear clarity. Aromas are bright tart tropical fruit with soft underlying petrol, citrus, pineapple, peach and lime zest. Palate is crisp and dry with evolving fruit balanced by rocky minerality and layered citrus and stone fruit nuances.

Dry, high acidity, light frame with a touch of c02. Likely too young and needs a few years.

Palish color. Nice nose of fruit, lychee pear and petrol. Lacking a bit of fruit/depth on the palate but with razor sharp acidity, but a gaping hole in the mid-palate leading to a gravelly mineral finish of moderate to short length.

Great fun to drink this and read the other tasting notes. The wine keeps its young notes and adds one layer each passing year. "Spritzy": Check "Tight and refined": Check "If granite had a flavor this would be it": Check Now also adding hints of petroleum. The wine is razor sharp, and not at flirty/fruity as some other Austrian rieslings. Minerals and structure. More cellaring might trade some of the acidity for addional complexity.

Honeyed, waxy but precise. 2nd take: If granite had a flavor this would be it.

Lemon and mineral, floral. Pure as fresh water on the palate. Incredibly expressive (and possive) of and on the palate but in such a tight (refined ) ban. What a distinguished wine. The finish is everlasting but within those same principals -- that narrow band but incredibly long and lengthy.

dry riesling (Waterford Wines Milwaukee) : spritz!!! chemical florals not unlike my mother's perm. mellow orange zest. textural width suggests an aged wax precursor. i may be looking into this wax thing too much. M+ acid and orange and floral across the palate. it tells me 'water weight.'

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #037; Austria: Riesling (by EvA) : The bouquet is somewhat closed. On the palate dry with a firm amount of citrus acidity and green apples, minerals and flint stone. A lot of acidity in the finish as well. Good wine.

Really pretty, flowery nose. Very young right now to the point of being spritzy. Almost has a Seven-Up like aroma to the nose. Fast and quick body. Delicious.
