Luigi Pira, Langhe, Nebbiolo

Color very light, nose is on red fruits, chocolate. Mouth super round, extremely fruity near velvet. Very enjoyable, in a good spot to be drunk, should be ok until 2032-33.

Young and fresh with a good punch on the nose. The usual suspects are present; sour Cheerios, raspberry, salvia and the age is starting to show with a nice tone of tobacco. Clear red transparent. Good to go but could last for years to come

Pale. Wafting earth scents. Light red fruit, good acidity, full of soil.

Light nose of red currant with a hint of spices. In the mouth, it strikes for its juiciness: the tannins are there, young, but pleasant, and the high acidity makes it very refreshing. A nice young Nebbiolo in the austere style.

Tannic, but great. Full of juicy red fruit — red currant, pomegranate, red cherry, and red plum, with a bit of earth, a hint of tar, and some violets adding floral lift. It’s complex, concentrated, and yet shows some elegance. Already very pleasant, though a good decant will help. Medium(+) tannins, high acidity, and a medium(+) finish. Should get even better with age.

Wine countries of the world with Munskänkarna - Italy. Lightweight on the eyes but not the tongue! Strawberry jam, bubblegum, raw meat, roses, sandalwood and bergamot in the bouquet which are in perfect harmony with the taste. Decent structure, lingonberry tail and some hefty tannins make this Nebbiolo a treat to sip.

Pale garnet color. On the nose a medium intensity of strawberries, red currant, violets, vanilla nougat and a hint of cedar. Dry with high acidity and high tannins with a full body. Pronounced flavor of strawberries, red currant, violet and vanilla. Also a hint of cedar. Long pleasurable finish. Excellent quality

Shredded cork in an almost 20-EUR-wine... :/ Upon opening, a natural, homogenous and seducive scent: classical Piemonte Nebbiolo for me, with underwood, cherry and cocoa. Very promising indeed. Interesting that the colour is pretty dark, but the wine moves quickly, not to say thinly. In the mouth, it confirms the relative lightness although the tannins are firm and slightly drying. Feels in a good spot right now, with good acidiy and a bit of fruityness still in there, but also …

Wonderful wine. Still very tannic. Wish I would have kept it a few more years. Black currant and licorice. Wait until 2025 if you can.

One of the best langhe nebbiolo from the vintage

ruby colour with brick reflexes, clear, very good. nose: roses, tart fruits (cranberries), some sweter red cherries, some kirsch; tobacco, cigar, earth. taste: medium (+) acidity; large volume of ripe, integrated, quite soft tannins; cherries with Stones; long finsh with black cherry accent. great balance between fruit/tannins/acid.

A highly perfumed, pretty nose of red fruits, floral spice and dried oregano. It has nice flesh in the mouth and tannins that are supportive yet supple. It is delicious now but has enough stuffing for mid-term cellaring.

dark brick colour with roses reflexes; clear. nose: dried roses, sweet cherries; bit rough but pleasant; sweet and robust. taste: medium tannins volume (small grains). Not ripe plums in the finish. Medium bodied. Very good now but try in 1-2 years.
