Definitely too young. However opened up after a 30 min double decant. Hints of tar and leather. Solid depth and smooth finish. This will develop over the next few years. Solid qpr.

Deep ruby color. Bold pomegranate red fruit nose. Medium body. The tannins are still fairly pronounced, but there is an underlying silky soft roundedness to the wine that makes for very nice drinking now. Fresh, elegant, and juicy in a very balanced way. There is structure here to age at least another 7+ years or so. The flavor profile includes dark cherry, blackberry, blueberry, slight tobacco and clove. This is a lovely wine at a fair price.
