Smells similar to the Chapoutier Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Bernardine 2005. A lot like kelp and sun/salt dried red meats. It's thinner on the palate than the aforementioned wine and the finish is very short. Otherwise, the front and middle are somewhat similar. Not a serious wine but at around $10 it's a nice everyday wine...like a CdP wanna be at low cost.

This is apperently the first vintage of Signargues AOC. Spice, meat, earth a touch like a Sang de Cailloux Gigondas. Brian notes that it is like baby Chateauneuf. The claim to fame of the winery is apperently that they own parts of La Crau. At $15 fine.
