Meh. Not blown away by this, though I was very intrigued about it before opening.

Intense strawberry. Pretty dry. The wine is sort of ok, but you do not enjoy it as a Lambrusco. It is pretty steely and dry in the mouth. Not my favorite version of lambrusco.

Three years ago I found the 2018 vintage of this to be rather overly acidic, but this seems to me to be a bit better balanced. The nose is crisp cranberries, and a hint of minerality. On the palate there is quite high acidity with herbs, tart berries and citrus, very fresh and palate cleansing. And still that overtone of slate-y minerality throught. The finish is long, crisp and clean. There's not great complexity here, but when you want a …

pinkish salmon colour with persistent effervescence. the nose is very fresh, with green apples, cranberries and strawberries in the lead amid hints of citrus and flowery notes. the fruity freshness continues in the mouth, with the clear acidity finding a foil in a certain mineral bitterness. no complexity expected, and none found. enjoyable and easy; it has "picnic in the park" written all over it.

Green Apple, rhubarb and raspberry in the nose. Maybe licorice. Bonedry, good acidity, light body, slightly bitter. Refreshing, great value for money.

Annandale Cellars Christmas Tasting (Annandale Cellars, Annandale) : Very herbaceous; a little crushed ladybird note, graphite…no real fruit on the nose. Fortunately there is some sour unripe strawberry on the palate, slight floury tannins but this is not for me.

Nice salmon kind of orange/pink. Pretty expressive, with notes of herbs, also some orange zest, lemon, some flowery notes and surprising minerality (slate) that is adding another dimension. This is lighter-medium bodied, with nicely integrated bubbles and a pretty high acidity adding good freshness. Medium finish with that salty mineral note again. I am by no means an expert on Lambrusco and my last run-ins with these wines have been less than thrilling to say the least, but this is …

A dry rosato style. Dilute strawberry and apple, pleasant balance, easy, green rhubarb, but a bit dull

Salmon pink colour. Rhubarb and sweet cherries on the nose with hints of flowers. Taste of flowers, rhubarb and cherries. Well integrated bubbles and a great acidity that lasts for a long time giving the wine a long and dry finish. A good Lambrusco that goes well with salads or poultry.
