Darker color compared to the 2008 Fevre Bougros, more evolved. Marks of brine, yellow fruits, green fruits, salt and stones. Round and smooth. Wonderful wine, approaching maturity, but plenty of life left. From Niels. With Niels at La Contadine.

Tasted vis-a-vis Bougros, this seem much further in develpment. A wee bit darker in colour, fine hints of oxidation, caramel, smoke, butter. Drinking a point from this bottle. #Bagnols-en-Fôret

This particular bottle struck me as being ridiculously tight and youthful with a very clean nose of salted minerals/sea spray, green apple and citrus flavors that extend into the very long finish. High acid impression but a crackling quality to the flinty aromas on the nose and in the mouth. There's no reason to believe this (particular) wouldn't hold for another 10 years+ but Joe saw more of the material present that I did today.

Shared my last bottle with Xavier94; merely full straw in color; clean nose of sea spray, petrichor, hint of iodine; the oak is fully integrated, green apple, lime juice, salty; perfect acidity and a huge, impactful finish. John didn't like it as much as I did.

very mature appearance and didn't quite know where to place this, anyways (tasted blind). Lots Dairy/ milky scents that scream malolactic with brown butter, creme brulees and bruised apple on the nose. The palate has a relieving acidity that makes this quite balanced and keeps you coming back for more evaluation. Lovely wine. Still youthful. Energetic bright tangerine and citrus fruit with a long honeyed finish. Not as nuanced as the 08 Raveneau Clos I had recently but impressive length and verve. Drink with air or hold for more development. 93+

Expectations was for a leaner, more mineral expression but this is really not the case. I rolled the dice on 3 of these at auction for $125 per. Then I read some of the notes describing them as over the hill and oxidized. Premox. Best "taste" i have experienced with a premox wine. When you see the colour you know what is waiting for you. Its just tricky to cellar white burgundy. Last years experience with Bouchard "Perrieres", Ramonet " Ruchottes"and now Fevre "Clos".

Lemon color. Initially quite reduced, obscuring the nose. But with a little bit of time in the glass it blossomed, revealing green apples and ripe limes. On the palate, mineral and chalky, but yet with an underlying fullness that brings everything together. Great structure and long finish. A great showing.

淡金黄色，刚开瓶时候试了一下，酒温很低，只能捕捉到明显酒泥接触的酸面粉团的味道，入口酸度高，酒液很咸，矿物感清晰，有橡木桶使用带来的圆润口感，但状态很封闭，以至于我都不确定酒是不是有点老了，需要进一步醒酒看看。回塞一个小时，然后进醒酒器，酒的状态开始不断攀升，醒酒器两个小时，和开瓶时简直脱胎换骨的表现，也许后面还会更棒，只是此刻已经喝完了，闻起来是奶油饼干，酵母，白花香气，一些坚果气息，入口依然高酸，坚挺的结构，酒液很咸很矿，奶油蛋糕混合着白芝麻和梨的香气，口感圆润，酒液丝滑，奶油香气一直延续到余味，在淡淡芝麻香中收尾。口感很扎实，从头至尾衔接紧凑，没有丝毫的疲态，精细的橡木桶运用，用桶比我预想中要克制很多，精准而又平衡，我一度以为贵的夏布利做得都越来越华丽享乐，不再夏布利了，这支酒又重新让我找回那经典的感觉，很纯正，很夏布利，很高级。

After emailing with the Vineyard it turns out that all of the remaining bottles in this vintage were damaged as a result of the type of cork used. Amazingly, the Vineyard acknowledged the issue was their responsibility and going to address it, so I may yet get to enjoy some delicious chablis.

Ended up having to open two bottles as the first had turned. We knew, the minute it was opened from the scent emanating from the bottle, quite sad to tip it. 2nd bottle was drinkable but equally felt it was close. 7 remaining,m all in the eurocaves and I hope that haven't turned.

Pristine natural cork. Pale straw. Lemon, lime peel, buttered toast, anise and still some sulphur candle reduction. Medium body, lemon, perhaps aging apple juice, high acid. Medium length finish with lemon rind bitterness. This is maturing very nicely.

Fresh as a daisy. In a great spot for drinking. Quite linear and focused with minerality classic Chablis notes in spades. Showing a bit of the riper/tropical fruit as you’d expect from 08 but every bit Chablis. Preferred this to the 08 Preuses we drank alongside. In the zone and I don’t see this getting better. Outstanding.

Wow! I am so excited. Most of the bottles of this case have been badly premoxed and I had to dump them. However this bottle is pristine. Taut, crisp, saline, stone and white flowers. Unmistakably grand cru Chablis. Pale lemon yellow color. Just amazing.

Unlike my last bottle 7 years ago This bottled suffered badly from premature oxidation. Not very drinkable. 2 bottles left, I will drink them soon and pray for the best.
