Tuesday Night Double Blind <$30 (Bin 75) : Semi-translucent, dark crimson with lighter crimson rim and orange hues; nutty, orange peel, sour cherry, dusty, sweet wood, salami, almost cinnamon; shorter tannic pull, at peak, still a firmness with a soft and sexy middle; good.

Wow, at this age, this is basically brunello. Terralsole holds their bottlings longer than most. I doubt it saw the full time in oak, but this tastes just like a brunello. Very high quality and drinking great.

Tasted at Brix in Omaha. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, wonderful scents of smokey red fruit, flowers, and tobacco - really nice nose. Palate: Doesn't live up to the nose - light to medium bodied, red fruit attack thins dramtically thru the mid-palate and never really comes back ending with a short red fruit dominated finish. Was disappointed in this wine. Thin and sour. Opened a 2007 Rosso after this from another producer and it was much better.
