Multi hour decant, if you love anise and charcoal then this will be right up your alley, for me it was too much of those two elements, along with stiffer tannins, to make it enjoyable.

Two hour decant, The nose is a step above the palate, with red licorice and sweet tobacco aromas. The palate is is slightly thin at the beginning with less tannins than expected and more acidity in the forefront. Medium bodied with a decent mouthfeel, this is monolithic but its single offering is enjoyable.

Fresh licorice and vanilla-coated berries with powerful tannins, good density and a long wild berry finish. 88-90 Pts
