Blend of Aglianico, Piedirosso and Tintore. Not sure the %s of each. Ripe red cherries, ripe red raspberries, fresh rosemary, wet stone on the nose. Smells fruit-backward with a medium intensity of aromas. The palate is pretty astringent - the condition of the fruits turns to "under ripe". The palate also adds some bitter herbs and oak flavors - mostly cedar wood and smoke. Only a medium finish; but I think it will be longer with a couple more years …
