Disappointing, but I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt that I just didn't like the blend. I am really not liking many grenache blends lately, and my jury is still out on mourvedre. I think this was kind of expensive, also.

A little too much fruit on this rhone style for my taste. I am drinking this much later than the other raters, so maybe this thing is past its prime. Not at floral for me. I will say that ai liked this when i tasted it a year ago.

Wonderful experience from first sniff to last swallow. Nose was pleasantly unusual with spice notes. Complex, velvety palate with plum and spice and a variety of other fun flavors. An interesting wine indeed.

FamilyWinemakers of California; 3/20/2007-3/21/2007 (Pasadena, CA) : Superb Rhone-style blend. Rich red fruits combine with floral aromas of roses and violets to produce a really interesting wine. Would buy more.
