Alcoholic sultanas nose, on the palate still quite sweet, reflections of ripe cherries, pommes granate, caramel, sultanas, marzipan and green spices. High in alcohol, not unpleasant, but needs spicy (thyme) based dishes, or a suitable friend for a cold winter evening.

Lively purple, spiced cherry and black fruit aromas, with hint of tobacco and dried plums. Full-bodied wine, warm and soft on the palate.

We bought this at our favorite Italian restaurant (Da Lino) while having a pizza. It's a good tasting Primitivo although a bit too sweet.

Just love the Italian take on 'Zinfandel', completely different actually, but a lovely, intense and powerful wine that is a fabulous QPR, this should be a 'stand by' for lovers of Italian wine - Dark, full bodied with a nose of plum, chocolate, spice, blackberry and vanilla, well made, balanced and interesting, sweet/smooth on the palate with very good length, excellent (90 Points).

Cherry and pepper on the nose. Taste was an unimpressive mix of cheese and sour berries.

Dark ruby red. Nose of cherries, licuorice, black pepper. Full bodied, thick tannins. Long finish with cherry flavors, slightly astringent.
