Williamsburg Winery Riesling Governor's White

This wine was laid down for a couple of years in a refrigerator. It has very little nose and is crisp on the pallet and not very sweet even though a reisling. I would describe it more as the sweet side of crisp. There is a lot of fruit on the pallet. This wine is fine for drinking with an everyday dinner (maybe Thai or other spicy Asian).

Got this at the Virginia Wine Festival in September. It is the Williamsburg Winery's best selling wine. 100% Riesling. On the nose, this wine is fresh, with a light nosefeel. On the palate, standard and simple Riesling flavour. Not of German quality, but this wine is about as good as some of the Michigan Rieslings I've tasted. Overall value: 2.5 stars of 5. Good.
