2022 Barbara starts with deep purple color. Rich black cherry. Maybe a hint of rubber reduction, or is it just spicy minerality. It’s biodynamic and aged in cement. Quite lively

Great acidity, moderate tannins, the nose and the palate bring equal parts tart cherry and deeper cured meat notes. Really excellent for the price, food friendly and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Wild flowers, ripe red cherries. Love the depth and balance of this Barbera, especially at this price. Acidity is present but kept in check, palate is fresh with a soft, silky texture. A hint of spice adds additional complexity. excellent!

Amazing wine! One of the best barbera d’albas I’ve ever had. Perfect combination of maturity, body and ripe sweet cherries. Long aftertaste, so balanced. Intense but soft flavours. Divine. Great bang for the buck. Buy if you get a hold of.

Brief note only, tasted at London trade tasting. RRP for this was £20, I'd say that's value for money. N.....intense, rich fruit. T.....smooth charmer, this one: quality fruit with balancing acid, floury tannins, long(ish) flavours. Real class for £20. Drinking superbly at 2 yrs old. VFM?....yes, good.
