This is a satisfactory SEGC for the price point. It's one of two bottles from my initial purchase, and it's presenting notably better than the one I uncorked three years ago. While the wine may not be exceptionally thrilling, I would certainly welcome the opportunity to enjoy it once more. It features dark and brambly fruit enveloping an earthy and slightly spicy core, with a particularly noticeable high alcohol content that comes through in the wine. The balance is lacking, …

Ripe, slightly candied dark fruit profile, mineral and medicinal, seeming a little warm and confected on the palate. Not my cup of tea.
