A bit golden in color, but still vibrant. Nose of orchard fruit like peaches and pear. More pear and rich apple in the mouth. I think quite integrated and not showing the oak very much now. It does show the benefits of oak and age, but that is why I keep these and hoping for not too long. There is minerality and acidity to help keep the finish clean with no signs of losing that. I think it has probably …

Wonderful. Nice acid and fruit still showing well. Hint of oak. Nose reflecting the terroir. Overall lovely and a perfect fish complement

Drank at Champetre Saturday nite to begin a long, lovely evening of French food and wine. No decant. No apparent signs of age in the bottle or glass. Nose of white fruit. Big, somewhat lush white burg. Peaches, honeysuckle and some citrus notes, with good acidity and nice minerality. Oak is still noticeable even after 15 years in bottle, and the wine was bigger than I expected but it is very well-made and has many positive attributes. Lovely long finish …

Drinking perfectly. Some reduction, honeysuckle, great fruit and balance. Excellent acidity. No hurry to drink the next one.

A bit musty, not holding up well, old citrus notes, a bit blah. Disappointing. Ringer in the BBM flight. Valentino premox tasting.

Delicious. Burgundian crispness. Bit of fig. Acid cut through fried chicken wonderfully

Initially there was considerable reduction. I decanted, shook a bit and this dissipated nicely. Nose then showed quite nice honeysuckle and peach aromas...hints of minerals. Very lush palate and depth...ripe fruit. The acid starts to show on a rather nice finish. All in all, quite nice and should continue to improve.

Popped and poured, then followed for several hours. Pale white gold color. Nose of shale, sea air, acacia, apple core, citrus. As the wine warmed up a bit, the palate unleashed layers of tart grapefruit, granny apple, and white peach laced with mineral notes and iron flecks. Driving acidity and serious structure leading to a long finish of grapefruit and white stone. Very young and very good.

Drunk early to test the small stash. Popped and poured. Pale white gold. Nose of flint, sea shell, citrus, applecore, apricot. Steely spine with slightly tangy layers of grapefruit, apple, fresh peach, and apricot on the palate. Stiff acidity and flinty minerals lending a fair amount of structure but the fruit appealingly delicate and precise. Long finish of citrus and stony elements. Bracing wine, will hopefully age well.

Although no where near ready, I had to try one out of the case. Very easy to drink. Nice aromas of peach. Good balance and acidity. Should age well.

Paul Pernot 2009 Tasting at Winery (Puligny-Montrachet) : Tasting at winery. Rish dense fruit, shows its lushness on palate more than nose. Good spice and minerality, ok acidity.
