Château Montauriol Fronton Caprice d'Adrien

Dark and pretty dense, but it's showing some age in the garnet colour. Quite fumy on the nose, with bacon, smoke and tar giving a savoury edge to the fruit, though swirling reveals sweeter fruit. Not as big on the palate as suspected from the darkness/density, but it's meaty, savoury and persistent.
