Elim Ward. green bell peppers. lots of greenness. light body. high, sharp acidity. but more mineral driven on the palate. maybe reductive. med finish. the greenness doesn't feel as artificial here, not as pungent as NZ samples which i like.

Interesting! Not our kind of wine, but paired with an Asian tuna dish this went well. It has a slightly astringent quality (bottle notes suggest nettle, we wondered about dandelion) and a good balance between refreshing acidity and creaminess. Some lime but not too overpowering which we appreciated. Certainly worth trying but we're reluctant to rate it, certainly very good category; we'd normally choose other options but this made an interesting change.

Very good wine. Good balance between the fruit and the acidity. Good intensity. Not very complex. Would require more concentration and length to be outstanding. Crisp and elegant style, not too much in your face. Skin contact for 6h, free run juice only, 4 months lees contact with weekly stirring. Medium+ intense aromas of passionfruit, grass, lemon, green apple, gooseberry, biscuit, iron. Dry wine, high acidity, medium- body, medium+ intense flavours, medium+ length finish. 13,5% - served @ WSET4
