Deep thick dark maroon in color. The aroma has lots of strong oak, is rather dark, and there's not much fruit to be found. The flavor opens with strong tannins, followed by big red fruit, then oak. A rich flavor, with some sharpness, and a long tannic finish. Tastes like a good meritage blend to me, but there's apparently zinfandel and petite sirah in here, too. Tasted at about 68°F.

Odd blend, tastes like an odd blend too. I am being told bold yet smooth. Although to me that is a bit over stating the case. Confused on the nose and palate I would say.

This wine gets better with air. Drank half the bottle corked it and drank the other half the next night. First night it would be a B (84 points). Second night it was a B+(88 points). Note from 2nd night: Black fruit, spice, cassis, pepper and hints of blueberry jam, finishes with some smokey oak and eucalytypus. Tannins are not as integrated, making it slightly unbalanced. It's definitely has a good QOV.

Contrary to some of the previous reviews, this is a nice wine. This is my second bottle. Tried the first bottle a week ago. This one is consistent with the first. Big fruit, a tad spicy and medium tannins. Low acid. Rich. Not picking up on a lot of heat. This is an interesting wine. Fun blend. Quite a bit going on. Pretty good value - under $20 Napa.

Overripe, hot, way out of balance.

Indistinct dark fruits, but still tasty. Light oak and a little too tannic. Overall sippable and food friendly.

Cherry, dusty, smokey nose, medium heavy weight. Plum palate with a little spice. Pleasing finish. Not good with sharp cheddar, very good with mahon. $19 in my market, good value. Would definitely buy again.

Dark purple inky color, medium to full bodied; a bit of an edge takes away from the black berry fruits adding a slight astringent tone, hints of oak, spice and cassis give way to a moderate tannin lingering finish.

Pretty solid, but at $17 I think you can do better. 87

Sweet dark berries on the palate. Nice tannins and a decently long finish. Nice table wine/daily drinker.

30% Merlot, 23% Petit Verdot, 17% Zin, 16% Petite Sirah, 10% Syrah, 4% Malbec. Dark purple in color, nose was of sweet berries. Some tannins in the front that gave way to strange slightly spicy, cassis, finish. Very disjointed. I am a huge fan of Sean Minor and it pains me to rate this new offering so low. Maybe this will self correct over time, maybe I just got a bad bottle.
