Anthony Road Cabernet Franc Martini-Reinhardt Selection

Really excellent. Cherries, herbs, green bell pepper and spice on the finish. Delicious on its own. In Ithaca (Seneca Lake).

inky red color and super aroma. not too oaky Gtat finish

The wine was very tight upon the initial opening. After decanting and 30+ minutes, the wine became more open, smooth and with lovely cherry fruit flavors, with some herbal notes on the end. My impression is still that the wine requires time. (Very surprising for a Finger Lake red). But I am marking my other bottle 2010.

Color: good rich ruby/purple. Nose: Typical CF - green pepper, barnyard, vegetal most apparent then some tobacco and berry. Taste: All of the aromas come through on the palate, with some tannins; finish is medium with some sour cherry at the end. Decent wine, not what you would expect from Finger Lakes, NY.

We had this at the winery. It was shocklingly good. I wouldn't have expected this level of quality from a Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc. We found out the bottle had been open in the tasting room for 24 hours.
