Kongsgaard Estate White Blend

Super aromatic, white stone fruit, floral, citrus almost Riesling like. Crisp finish.

Blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier or Chardonnay (though no clear data as to the exact percentages of each). The first thing that I am grateful for is that the oak inclusion is much better managed vis a vis the Kongsgaard Judge (almost certainly owing to the 50% fermentation in amphora). The nose had some great tropical fruit, very much a Sauvignon Blanc driven wine in that respect. Palate shows little Chardonnay stone fruit, more included in the blend for texture …
