Sweet fruit, nice finish, somewhat truncated mid-palate. A good Thursday night wine with burgers!

Nice sweet fruit with some toasty notes. Not a lot of nuance or depth though.

Washington Wine Tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of homely earthiness, tobacco leaf, black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, integrating oak toast. Developing. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, high alcohol (14.6%), soft very plush ripe high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavorus of vanilla cream, oak toast, blackcurrant, black cherries, blackberries, black plums, tobacco leaf background. Puckery long finish. Good quality. Plush fruity oaky Merlot. …

Dark ruby Nose:Plum etoh(14.60) Palate: plum, leather, ripe berries, some acid, little tannin. Not aggressive, rather soft and easy. Finish: moderately long I like this wine. The price would be the decision point. If under $20 I would buy.

Black pepper, jalapeño, and plum on the nose. Medium body. Leads with the fruit, and the spiciness comes in towards the finish. Not a ton of anything to speak of in terms of tannins.

Black pepper and plum nose with jalapeño notes. Nondescript palate with a spicy finish. Did not hold up well with tacos, somewhat surprisingly. Color me less than impressed.

Strong jalapeño on the nose and palate. Black pepper notes and spice should mellow with 18-24 months in the bottle.
