This is a great evening rosé for me. Especially in a cool summer night. A bit heavier than a Cote de Provence but lighter than Bandol. Maybe I'm starting to enjoy Beaujolais?

"Does price matter?" Blind Tasting (Roberts House, Philadelphia PA) : nice light rose. nothing complex here -- strawberry, cherry.

Blind Price Test (Our House (2033 Brandywine)) : Very pleasant, easy drinking Rose. Strawberry, red fruit, dough and a touch of acidity. Very nice.

This is always pleasing and easy to drink. Really enjoyable. A fun wine with some nice candied flavors and surprising weight for what it is. I highly recommend this wine as a nice fun every day drink.

Really lovely on this occasion. Cherry pie filling, cherry vanilla soda. Candied cherry. Mouthwatering. All of this with a bit more weight than I remember. Easy drinking leading to nice finish.

2009 Beaujolais Taasting (Josh & Shannon's) : light and fruity -- fruit is very gamay in character, leaning towards artificial cherry. fresh and pleasant to drink.

Really nice Rose and very solid price. Nice balance of minerals and light red fruit: strawberries, candied cherries and cranberry. Solid acidity. After finishing our 4 bottles from the summer, bought a case from Chambers Street for under $11 a bottle.

Very very nice. Deep watermelon pink/red color. Nose of cherry and grape sno-cone with watermelon and strawberry. This is not really sweet on the palate, though, which is a bit of a surprise considering the nose. There is nice balance on the palate with good acidity, nice strawberry and watermelon and some nice weight. The minerally finish is quite nice. Terrific rose.

Leftovers from the bottle Rieslingfan posted on earlier. Still delicious with juicy red berries and pomegranate, very refreshing and easy to drink.

Despite the fact that this comes in a frosted bottle (yikes!) and has a label that smacks of Ralph Steadman doing Bonny Doon, the wine is rather stunning stuff for its type. Lovely ripe strawberry & cranberry aromas, nearly a creaminess on the palate & fairly decent length. It's fresh, lively and much too quaffable (especially after mowing the lawn). Yum+

This is a nice simple and yummy Rose with a touch of fruit (strawberry), sweetness and a more generous helping of refreshing acidity.

Roses (With some surprises - Good and Bad) : Very nice showing for this wine. It was my WOTN. Strawberry in color with slight orange hues. Great nose of watermelon and minerals. On the palate, big cherry notes with some strawberries. Smooth. Some watermelon on the finish. Just a delicious wine.
