Somewhere between yellow-green to golden, this wine has the aromas of citrus ambrosia. At 15% you'd expect this to be "hot" on the palette, but its almost soft and dry on the palette owing to the level of acidity. The nose also preps you for a much sweeter wine than what you get which is really quite nice. When all is said and done this is a pretty good (not the best, but still pretty good)viognier. Perfect for summer afternoon …

Nose: Floral aromas with spicy undertones. Palate: Great richness with good acid levels, sweet melon flavors and a spicy finish. Finish is medium long. Very cool Viognier that hides its big 15.5% alc levels very well.

Really great wine. Big and rich, which Viognier is as a variety - but then add Californian wine making on top and you've got a big wine! But glorious. Definitely one of the most enjoyable bottles of Viognier I've ever had. The oak was evident but not overdone. The flavours were very pronounced, particularly a flavour of pear juice. Will last a good few years - maybe many years!

Very nice, surprisingly good for an older white wine.

crisp and clean; sweet, but not cloyingly so at all; citrus, apple and some melon -

it was ok, very neutral taste, didn't have much on the heavier melon flavor I typically find it a Viognier. not descript in terms of flavor for me... would drink it again if out if another choice wasn't available, but wouldn't buy it again for consumption at home.
