This is an excellent Rhone-style blend that is approaching its peak. You have a nice balance of bright fruit that you might expect from Grenache, with dark fruit taste and aromatic depth that you'd expect from Syrah. On the nose, I got a balance of bright cranberry, with dark blackberry. With maybe some slight herbs and oak to finish off the aromatics. All of those senses came forth on my palate. At the top of its drinking window in my opinion. On the nose leather, darker fruit, and flowers. Smooth and mildly soft on palate with hints of blackberry jamb. On the finish pepper notes medium acidity and a medium length. Good juice!

syrah dominant southern Rhône style, hint of a pepper, nice lingering finish

PnP. Clean red and black fruits, such as boysenberry, blackberry bramble, black olive, black cherry. Hints of eucalyptus, mint, tobacco leaf, meats and smoke are present, but subtle. This is not overly “Rocks” in style, which is refreshing. Good juice!

Walla Walla Syrah Festival Grand Tasting (Valdemar Cellars Walla Walla) : Pášxa and Walls Table was great. This was my least favorite of the 4 but still 92 points. Dark berries, coffee beans, roasted meat, white pepper and olives. Medium finish.
