12 degrees (hooray) and utterly delightful lunch wine on a less than sunny summer day. A fun natural wine and a lovely surprise.

hoooo! this bottle singing tonight. first of my batch of six this vintage that recalls the glory of the previous year. maybe it needed time or maybe it needed a fruit day on the biodynamic calendar. has that edgy carbonic nose with cola and wild berries. significant woodsy notes as well. palate with timgling acidity almost like champagne. fresh like a perfectly ripe blackberry off the vine. savory bass notes with sage like herb and a peppery component ground it …

nose with smoke and some citrus juices intermingled with dark berries. medium bodied and brightly acidic. boysenberry, blueberry, black and red pepper palate. juicy and delicious.

magenta and a bit cloudy. nose has a toasted fireplace quality along with crushed berry and mushroom. tingling acidity on the forward attack with a creamy medium body. juicy berries and sassafras on the palate with a fresh, tart, lasting finish. teems with energy and personality.

Deep ruby in the glass with strong violet hues. Aromatic, jumping out of the glass with notes of cracking blackcurrant, black pepper, sour cherry and hints of Mediterranean herbs. Lovely, lively palate that really refreshes the senses. Simple, but oh so good.
