Interesting blend - still dry and flavorful too! very good summer red, as it is a bit lighter weight than many of today's blends. I believe the Carignan does that.

Deep ruby. Intense scents of ripe blueberry, jammy plum, oak, vanilla, cinnamon in a frame of herbs like mint and eucalyptus. Full bodied, jammy dark fruit and herbs again with quite pronounced oaky flavours. Medium finish with grip and balancing acidity. A little over the top but not bad after all.

Gibby's Hauser Tasting: South America (Gibby's Wine Den, Geneva) : Inky crimson color with aromas of cranberry, eucalyptus, dark fruit and herbs. Full-bodied with firm tannins and flavors of red and black fruit, vanilla and herbs. Nice finish.
