Aromas of strawberry and cherry lead off, accented by notes of light oak and freshly tilled earth. Elegant and harmonious, with the ripe fruit flavors and texture matching the bracing structure. The aftertaste of red fruit and mineral fades gracefully.

Sour cherry notes with some oxidation, forest floor, a bit of nail varnish, high acidity, juicy and medium bodied. Ok for the price, but not a bottle to remember. Might have been more attractive as a younger wine. Better with food. - 87 points

Cherry and blackberry. A little high on acidity and decent tannins. There is some complexity and character. Day two it really shined. This is a great Chianti at this price.

I let this Chianti decant for approx 5 hours before pouring. In the glass this pale garnet colour showed very quick set of tears when swirled. On the nose fruits notes of cherry along with balsamic notes were detected. On the palate this medium bodied wine provided complex cherry, balsamic notes with a very light smooth easy drinking wine. This was a super amazing wine for the $20 price tag that was a very solid 89 score overall that I …

Found it very acidic. Better on the second day. Flavors of cherry and plum after you got through the acidity.

Colour: bright cherry red Nose: plum, cherry liqueur, blackcurrant, blackberry. Dried rosemary. Charcuterie? Fresh, fruity, but savoury. Palate: plum, blackberry, black cherry, blackberry. Dried rosemary, some savouriness. Old, charred oak. Fresh berry like acidity; moderately drying, chunky tannins. Decent; enough complexity to be interesting. Medium bodied, 13% alcohol. Seal: technical cork.

I nice light Red with limited fruit character on the nose and palate (when it gone it’s gone) it’s from a respectful wine growing region in Tuscany, I first had this wine with mushroom infused pasta in an exellent Florence restaurant, and for what I paid it was great value and superbly matched with my dish, it’s a basic wine to be enjoyed by the inexperienced and educated wine novice

Delicious but not exciting Chianti from an exciting vintage. No faults, seems aimed at a mass market.

A simple wine, at an affordable price. Mass-produced (750,000 bottles), and pretty much delivers on the $13 retail price, but no more. Perfectly acceptable as a cooking wine, or casual dinner wine. Not something I would buy, but if faced with grim alternatives, would happily enjoy with a meal. Drink now thru 2024. (NR) https://www.italianwinereviews.com

Clean tasting, simple wine with decent fruit and balance , $34 in restaurant, good value, drank easily, light bodied, crowd pleaser, might drink again but recently tasted superb CCR’s in Tuscany and there is much more complex wines for not much more $, drank with steak.
