The 15.3% alcohol level is the biggest challenge here. Very dark ruby in color, tart berry & cherry on the nose, along with an earthy scent and still a little alcohol even on day 2. The flavor is more ripe and dark cherry & berry, pepper and oak. Medium+ bodied. Again, still packing heat on second day. Age is not an issue but cannot imagine it getting better and should consume rest in the next several months. Needs a long …

Very different Pinot. Cherry and berry aroma and taste, but something earthy, meaty as well. Not unpleasant, just different. It finishes hot and acidic. I've loved Adobe's Pinots before - maybe this is just too old....

Subtle on nose. Some tartness, but not overwhelming. Rosy, light, but full, herb and cherry. Quite coastal and sunny but not blatantly so. Nice balance and complexity. Seems to be holding up well. Enjoyed with Easter lamb.

Initial impressions not good. Maybe an ok wine underneath a huge amount of alcohol.

strawberries....structured strawberries with hints of kiwi and nice subtle tar like tannins. Nice QPR Pinot....If it comes back to WTSO...buy it.

Cranberry, floral, spice and strawberry. On the palate a bit too much spice on this bottle along with floral, cranberry and minerals. Medium finish. Not a bad wine for under $20.

Fragrant and I like the nose better as it offers cranberry, smoke, spice and floral notes. The palate is a little too acidic but overall it is a solid wine. Worked well with Turkey dinner.

nice cherry forward nose. new world for sure. smells big and opulent. the taste... hmmmm ... well pretty darn good. lots of new world fruit, but a ton of spices, which is good, some alcohol, not so good, but manageable, with air, it gets downright spicy, caramel like, licorice qualities, interesting for sure. the wines I have had from wtso have been quite good. It goes to show you there are really good wine makers out there, that haven't got …

Pop and pour. Rivals the '06 Kosta Browne Amber Ridge at 1/4 of the price. Great find.

Huge expression of tobacco-leaf laden Sonoma Coast goodness.
