Lighter color. The nose shows fresh aromas of orchard fruits, flowers, minerals and chalk. This is medium light bodied on the palate with very good concentration and excellent class. The medium plus length finish features bright acids and a mineral element. 2019 and 2020.

Deg. 07/2025, from Magnum bottle at my birthday party. Very fresh, linear, but complex and beautiful, showing notes of ripe yellow pear, citrus, some mint, chalky minerality, but also a touch of richness adding roundness to the overall impression. Medium-full bodied, but feels lighter, with pretty high nice acidity and some really nice length, without too much weight. Good finish. Showing really nicely, while still youngish. (93+)

Beautiful BdB with tons to like: crisp, zesty and polished with a great finish. I think this is Côte des Blancs chardonnay at its most refined. Lemon zest, chalk, flowers and a whiff of hazelnuts on the nose. Creamy palate that also presents as dry, almost steely minerality…a great balance. Just quietly great. Bottled: 2018 Disgorged: 2021

Base 21, disgorged 25. Light gold color. Expressive nose of pear, apple, lemon strudel, honeysuckle, hazelnut and crushed chalk. Quite a rich champagne with soft acidity and creamy mousse. Even though it's only a year out from disgorgement, this is already very approachable and drinking exceptionally well. Drink or hold.

Base 18/19 Gogg 22. Pale yellow in colour. The nose is beautiful and expressive, showing yellow fruit, subtle sweetness and floral notes. On the palate the wine is slender and elegant, with flavours of apple and light citrus. The finish shows a slightly metallic edge, adding a firm, mineral impression to the wine’s otherwise delicate fruit profile.

Walkaround tasting hosted by a merchant. Classic pear and apple fruit, slight brioche frame. Dusty mineral layer. On the palate this is somewhat austere, but a clear step up from the 7 Cru. The small Agrapart line-up failed to convince this time round and I found myself perceiving them as rather austere on the nose und unrefined on the palate.

Really strong showing from Agrapart on this cuvee. Strong aromas of of chalk, green apples with hints of lemon that gives it some depth. Great finesse and balance on the palate with medium+ length. Could drink this type of Champagne all day long.

Комплексное, сложное, очень приятное шампанское с удивительным перляжем. Свежее, минеральное, с солью, цветами, зелёным яблоком и цедрой лимона. Очень структурное и энергичное.

Way better bottle than last time. Not oxydized at all. Complex, mineral, developed and fresh. Clearly a blanc de blanc.

Brioche. Not distinctive or impressive to me compared to other NM’s non vintage champagne. Lacking acidity to me.

From mag and had this also from mag 2 months ago. Solid effort but outshone by a Jacques Lassaigne (Cotet). Just not the precision I’m used to. A bit clumsy but nonetheless enjoyable and my guests seemed to like it. Immediately accessible and in prime. Paired well with cheese, caviar and lobster tail.

Just utterly gorgeous BdB. Penultimate of 6 bottles, last enjoyed 1.5 yrs ago. Bright, laser like, acid and chalk, citrus and salt. Wow.

Bottled May 2012, Disgorged 2016. Certainly developed, but ultimately not particularly pleasant perhaps due to the vintage blend. Underripe fruit and astringent.

This bottle was base 2016 (d.02/2020). This has started to take on some more mature notes but retains it's Côte des Blancs freshness and precision. I only have a bottle of this disgorgement left and will drink it over the next year, I expect.

5 months since my last bottle. This too was a magnum. Solid and immediately accessible. Smooth, crisp and precise. In its prime and will drink well for another 3-5 years. Its only fault was me first starting with Krug for the night. Revisit 2026.

On the nose, white flower, green apple, and lime. On the palate, green apple, lime, and crushed chalk most notably. Precise, elegant, and crystalline finish.

Great energy, tension and effervesence. Paul got lemon rind and my take was closer to a lemon Jolly Rancher. Regardless, taut citrus for sure. Finish had a beautiful saline quality. This is one of my favorite NV Bdbs.

My greatest sin with champagnes is probably drinking them too quickly at the start of the meal, rather than affording them room for evolution and air. Which is compounded because the champagnes I tend to drink are usually quite young (in this case, d2022) as compared to the still wines I drink. Popped this on Sunday and drank perhaps 2/3 of the bottle over the course of the day. Pleasant at that point, if a little shrill in the acidity …

Who am I kidding, you all know that this is an excellent bubble (especially for the price point). Apple, citrus, slightly unripe pineapple and a hint of rye bread sourdough (I know that it's very specific, and probably "wrong", but I am a hobbyist baker and that's the smell it was evoking). The palate is very similar to the nose, but with additional pleasant minerality and a long finish. I believe I snatched this bottle for less than 50 bucks, …

2023 disgorgement. light gold, moderate mousse, small bubbles. nose shows some dough and apple flesh. medium body with high tension acidity. delicately balanced. lemon zest, apple, croissant, espresso dust, and chalk on the palate. medium length lemon flesh finish softens as it fades. taut and tanned, good stuff.

This was nice, but several levels down from a few life-changing experiences I had with this release in 2016. This bottle actually showed some of the herbal, underripe character one sometimes finds in this vintage. It was lacking the unique mouthfilling texture I've previously found, as well. I will hold my last bottle and hope to drink at full maturity.

Not blind One of the best Agrapart's I had so far. I'M not a really big fan but this one was for his style "fruity" and funmaking. Peach, pineapple and Mandarine. Chalky but not too Saline. Nicely balanced. Good stage for drinking. 93+

Agrapart Mineral Vertical (with a Venus friend) (chicago, IL) : The nose is friendly and a bit forward with balanced tones of white peaches, green apples, pears, crushed rocks, biscuits, saline, and white flowers. This is nice and fragrant, but it lacks some depth and poise. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and upfront with integrated, high acidity that is there to provide a spine. Like the nose, the tones don’t dig too deep here but they are seamless and …

Wining Around New York; 3/6/2019-3/10/2019 (Various Venues, New York) : Yellow with some remaining fizz. Just off dry, lemon zest, good acidity. This has more age than most examples of this cuvée I've tried and is not as bracing and, well, mineral as I recall and crave. Perhaps it's the mellowness of maturity, or maybe it's the vintage, but suffice it to say that while I enjoyed it, I've preferred bottles with more snap.

Another killer bottle of this, and sadly nearly my last. Every bottle of this release has consistently been the best wine I've ever tasted from Agrapart. This is such an immaculately balanced extra brut, it's like a creamy lemon iceberg that is weightless yet mouthfilling. There is just the start of some biscuity development creeping in at the edges that will no doubt increase with additional bottle age.

Tasted side-by-side with the Peters Chetillons, and I preferred this by a hair. Pop n' pour. A fine bead and high energy palate. There is a terrific focus and precision to this wine. Very crisp as it floats across the palate. Long, lithe finish. Young, but delicious and fun in it's youth.

This was a stunning bottle. Tense, with piercing acid and a intensely chalky minerality. A slender core of richness reminds you that this is Champagne, although there is a nod toward Grand Cru Chablis. On day 2, this is just as good if not showing more depth and concentration with a subtly savory, chicken stock note that was not present before. The 5 g/L dosage is almost completely invisible. This absolutely smokes any recent Champagne I've drunk, including 2006 Peters …

I did exactly what prior TNs advised not to do, to bring to a party and pop and pour. I brought this to the Skurnik thing before the Phish show, and it was well received, but man, was it tense, minerally and very dry. I'm inclined to not open another bottle for a while. With R and Jason R.

This is an Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs. Good bit of yeast on the nose when first poured, but it blows away even before I take my first sip. Very dry, clean, clear, creates lemon puckeriness in the mouth, dry, tart green apple. Opens with a bit of air, white fruit, still very tense on the palate, minerally, grapefruit pith and a lime note. On the second night, this is very nice, some brioche notes, but more . . . …

Delicate spice fragrances, hints of peach and pear; full flavors of minerals, chalk, a savory element; very long. My fourth bottle, this is still rather closed and needs lots of air. My first bottle was with the proprietor and it was decanted and served in white Burgundy glasses, no flutes, and that's the way to do it. Do not pop and pour this wine for a celebration - that would be a waste! Fabulous wine, it has many more years …

A bit constricted still, needs over an hour of air to relax and show itself. Opening this now and pouring it out and drinking it down would mean missing the wine. It feels almost too austere at first, although that might have something to do with being served next to the much more evidently alluring 2006. But with time the wine shows beautifully, with great focus and clarity of aroma and flavor. These are delicate saline chalky citric flavors but …
