Giornata Orangotango

Very Good++ Great appeal here when you're in the mood for the style, a hint of 'natural' feel, orange body and an impression of orange blossoms and peel in the nose, nice mouthfeel with texture. Fun wine. VINIFERATU's TN captures it well. Three years out from the vintage is on the long end for the intended use, but this holds up well, still vibrant and expressive. 12.5% abv Empty bottle weight: 478g

Tasted almost like a dessert wine, although maybe that's the style?

crisp apple, yellow peach, orange blossom, a little herbs and yeast... luscious and ripe, silky and slightly tannic, juicy finish, so easy and fresh, mineral and subtly leesy finish, lovely stuff...
