Domaine de la Tour Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Cuissy

Star bright straw gold. Dried quince and white pepper on the nose. Echoed on the palate with some rubber balloon and a hint of cement mid-palate and on the finish. Smoother, fatter mouthfeel than expected (possibly due to my expectations set by a lack of significant experience with Chablis). Surprisingly only medium plus acidity (ditto? Or is that age?). Still a great foil for sushi, though raw shellfish might argue with a bit.
