Deep, dark brilliant red garnet with zero color degradation. Fresh-cracked black pepper and very rich ripe red berries on the nose. Incredibly dense and tannic, it was immediately obvious that we had inadvertently committed infanticide. Mulberry, blackberry, clove, bay leaf, and black soil notes. Really tasty with a great future; try again in 3-5 years.

Dark red at the rim - muted nose with blackberry and cassis. Medium bodied, not forced, quite dense in flavour but closed at the moment, wel mannered tannins and a long finish - needs a couple more years in the cellar.
