Bright tawny pink-gold. Light nose of orange rinds, caramel cake frosting, pecans. The palate is concentrated but very light, candied stone fruit, and macerated raisins with a barely tart edge. The finish is just barely warm, ripe and sweet without being at all cloying. Somewhat in the vein of verdelho Madeira, but way more delightfully delicate.
