Saude Creek Vineyards Viognier

Corked or eqivalent! In a screw cap! Color is slightly dark. Very odd, musty nose and very subdued fruit in both aroma and taste. Very strrange.

Slightly dark yellow. Nose is flowers over melon with a touch of spice. Flavor is spiced peach over somewhat fat melon. Slightly thick mouth feel. Has a somewhat raw citric acid flavor and level that given the dark color and flavor profile suggests the grapes were overripe and low acid and "corrected" with citric acid. Better and tolerable warmer but directionally heavy, and not refined or elegant.
