Still ruby red, but shows a tiny amount of browning at the edge. Dark cherry, black raspberry, some mushroom earthiness. More secondary and tertiary than the last time I tasted it. Still has the alcohol warmth and while it's not hot, it's more intrusive than my last note. But the flavor profile overall has matured and deepened. Black cherry, dark berry, a hint of cola, hint of baking spice. Some alcohol warmth on the palate (label says 13.5%), but it's not hot or overdone. Rich, but not overripe, good length. Still some noticeable tannins in the finish. A tremendous value.
