A bit more mature than my previous bottle 1.5 years ago. Lots of petrol upfront, then apples, minerals and caramel (popcorn?). Just great!

Had the 2013 a few weeks ago and wrote: "Wow, really concentrated and complex Riesling with petrol, burned caramel with joint apple acidity (perfectly balanced), strong minerals, herbs and a long finish. (93p)" Most of this holds true for 2014 as well. Surprisingly, I prefer 2013 over 2014, even though it was the more difficult vintage. The 2014 acidity was more pronounced and not as well integrated. Riesling and Vietnamese/French (Ngon's Bistro) : There was a lot of sulphur on this wine, making it difficult to drink. I hope it was flawed, but am not sure.

Monthly Tasting Group: Rieslings (Ngon Bistro, St. Paul, MN) : Small taste. Has an odd skanky floral aromatic, fusil, white fruits, green apple skin.

Outside of the pronounced petrol element on the nose and to some degree on the palate I was digging this tonight. A concentrated, energetic, sappy array of; citrus, ancient seafloor minerality, stone fruit, herbs and that hint of petrol. Needs time to resolve the petrol in favor of a cleaner nose but its a lip smacking glass of Riesling. I'm going to continue to explore my recent GG epiphany one or two btls at a time till I figure out …

Cru Beaujolais and Pizza Night (Brad's Place, St. Paul, MN) : Pale straw color. Drank a small glass over 20 minutes. Lots of fusil on the both the nose and palate, white peaches, citrus, lean on the palate, tart, stony mineralty.

some kernel aromas, waxy tree fruit, no oak shows on the palate, probably more struck rock to the nose anyway. floral, but more fruit than then Schieferterrassen 2015. Again, extract adds weight.

En del frugt i næsen, med citrus og moden pære som dominerende. I munden en smule grapefrugt, god balanceret syre. Er i tvivl om den udvikler sig yderligere - gemmer den sidste falske et par år og ser.
