Terpened on the nose, powerfully so, but lacks the crispness and intensity on the palate so that it comes off rather disjointed, and only the bitterness and flabiness show on palate

This came as part of an Iberian special offer from my local specialist. I like occasional Albarino so why not try the Portuguese version? Citrusy, tangy, quite austere and refreshing. Drink with almendras! Excellent value

That is a bit more waxy. A little bit fresher on the palate. It is at the heart of the zone and there is no C02 at bottling so it is a bit fuller and waxier on the palate.

Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of grapefruit, lemons/limes & some stone fruit notes with a touch of spices, minerals, stony & a hint of salinity. Lingering …
