Trivento Bonarda

Very dark and almost opaque black-red color with purple highlights. Very dark-toned and quite spicy nose with aromas of sweet raspberries, some peppery character, a little bit of licorice and a hint of anise. The wine feels quite round, moderately full-bodied and relatively un-concentrated on the palate with flavors of raspberry candies, ripe dark berries, peppery spice, some black cherries and a hint of licorice.
