Orfila Vineyards "Full Fathom Five"

Wine is deep ruby in color, acid is high, alcohol is high, the wine is dry, tannins present, low but what is there is grippy. Finish is long and hot. On the nose, paint thinner, overwhelming - hot alcohol. If any fruits, they're sour black fruit like unripe black berries. On the palate, hot baking spices, alcohol and nail polish. Not great. Maybe a bad bottle. We ended up throwing it out and opening a fresh bottle.
