Mature fruit with an edgy right-bank type bite Plenty of acidity holding it together, at a nice stage, almost regretting not holding it a few more years

Best Efeste in a while. Roses and tobacco on the nose. Dark, complex, well-integrated fruits. Medium body and long finish with a touch of oak but it doesn’t get in the way. Drink over the next year or two.

Great dark fruit nose. Definitely big tannins, but fruit to match. Dense feel. Big wine.

Had a few nights ago - lovely dark and ripe fruit. Still showing signs of life with good acidity and medium tannins. Dark currant and plum flavours - this was a solid find in the cellar. Guessing it was a Garagiste mystery wine that I was not able to log correctly. Excellent.

Good dark fruit flavors but still a lot of aggressive tannins

Enjoyable right bank Bordeaux blend with a pleasing blue fruit profile. I didn't take detailed notes but I can say this is drinking pretty well right now (our bottle anyway).

Last bottle from that vintage. Needed 30 mins to open and soften but was even better than my first bottle opened about a 6mo ago. Excellent wine.

WS was not very kind to this wine. I found it wonderful. Plenty of red Willow fruit on the nose, perfect amount of french oak. Tannins have softened nicely and are well integrated. Nice long finish. Only bad thing I could say was that after being opened for several hours, the Cab franc came really forward and was sightly herbaceous. Still a fantastic wine crafted from a cool season. Well done B.

With entrecôte bercy. Red willow Merlot characteristics evident, nicely softened by the two CF contributions. Benefits significantly from Venturi. Finished with a soft, semi ripe Brie. Outstanding

This wine is pleasant now but I think it could use a bit more time to resolve the tannins still present. I would hold.

This is hitting a sweet period. Lovely nose. Juicy sweet ripe dark fruit and gentle tannins to underpin them. Lingering finish - memorable
