Mittel-kräftige Farbe, in der Nase leicht fruchtig, minimal oxidiert (?). Im Mund erstaunlich frisch, etwas Frucht. Trotz allem interessant. Jetzt trinken!

When I bought this wine the shop had found lost in their cellars. I tasted after the bottle had been open for one day. For that I remember getting more out of it. I open this one in about 3 hrs. It has a great balance of tannins that are pleasant with lots of aged sirah fruit, good body. That typical smokiness .... I like this wine a lot. I wouldn't have cellar this- but it shows how nice can …

Nose of exotic spice and a note I've never experienced in a Rhone before - papaya. On the palate, still has quite a bit of spice and flavor - this has matured nicely and is drinking smoothly, and well. A bit past its prime but a nice showing still. 88-89

Fresh, cool, black pepper, meaty aromas, blackberries. Nicely balanced, medium/full bodied. Fairly simple profile but a lovely drink. Ready now but will last.

Note two days after drank it. Very lovely syrah nose .. blackberries, thistle, pepper, a bit of animal leather. Full bodied, fresh tasting. Very balanced. Can't remember much else but I really liked this for the price, a lot. Ready to drink but won't go anywhere soon.
