Martin & Weyrich Chardonnay Reserve Edna Valley

Bottle very old. Cork did not come out intact. Despite that the color was not as orange as expected. Definite signs of age with strong apple aroma, but palate was much more enjoyable with a strong popcorn finish. Was fine with a hard cheese.

Not as orange colored as the August bottle. Again paired well with sharp white cheese and ceviche. Did not taste as old as August bottle.

Cork disintegrated upon removal. Wine was orange colored. By itself seemed old, but with some sharp cheese it paired well.
