Ok.

Medium body, very green and vegetal, terrible

Tried another bottle - this one was out of balance, strange acid, unpleasant.

Interesting, a little odd, but good. Crowd pleaser style. Grape juicy, and hint of old world too. Very ripe. Little wood. No heat. No cabernet character. Would guess Rhone, not Chile cab.

I did not find this bottle acceptable on any level. It does not possess the power or ripe fruit I would expect from Maipo, and certainly does not have nuance, secondary notes, or even simple charm. I didn't really find any pure fruit, chocolate, anise, licorice, or floral qualities. Not pleasing or charming on any level. I wouldn't open this for a party of my college buddies, inlaws, (I don't have any inlaws, but hypothetically,) or Jehovah's Witnesses. This is …
