13% alcohol. Distinctive velvet-like label. Circumstances do not allow for a detailed tasting note, but this is the best Loire Crémant that I ever had. No austerity in spite of the absence of dosage.

The nose was quite pretty but the finish was short.

Là je suis scié: j'en ai bu quelques uns des triple zéro, mais celui-là est de loin le meilleur que j'aie jamais goûté. Bulle fine, équilibre parfait, très gourmand en milieu de bouche, arômes de chenin splendides, il impressionne tous ceux qui plongent leur nez dedans. Je l'avais gardé quelques années en cave pour voir, je ne suis pas déçu (base 2022?)

Nose: Yellow apples sprinkled with powdered sugar. Palate: Dry wood, sour honey on toast, dried apple, soft bubbles; overall, this wine has a hard-line minerality and not a lot of fruit to speak of.

Great sparkler. Excellent QPR. Apple, toast, slight honey on the finish. Completely dry. Perfect pairing for a meal!

Enjoyed this even more now than the last time I tried it. Beautiful balance between the fresh acidity, richer fruit with lemon and some honeyed peach notes, the minerality and the autolysis. Very complete and moreish. The fizz is on the gentler side. A very recognizable chenin character to the fruit, which I appreciate. Definitely worth revisiting. 90-91 ballpark.

Steady mousse; well defined bouquet with apple & quince notes; initially dry & stark this opens up yet retains dive & nervosity; well mannered finish, long. (disgorged 06/25?).

Meget levende udtryk, der voksede ekspansivt i takt med temperatur og ilt. Klassisk næse med citrus og autolyse, senere også marcipan. Dejlig fylde i munden med smuk balance mellem syre og (rest?)sødme. Boblerne er meget milde, a la pet nat. Bravo.

Briefly, this is rather nice. Crisp, green apple, honey, some bread notes. As an alternative to champagne at ~US$28 this is rather good QPR.

Four years on from purchase and the time has served it well. Midweight with some breadth on the palate. Slightly salty shortbread with a touch of apricot. Not the most refined mousse but at this point wants a gentle pour to retain the fizz. Really good wine and great value. Even better on day two. Buying a case of the recent release now....

1st time with this wine. But I am a fan of the late Jacky Blot's wines. Bought 6 bottles for my wife's 60th from L&W, stored, but forgot to get them out for her birthday celebrations. She likes Chenin. Lovely fizz. The bubbles are soft and gentle, the taste biscuity and creamy. Dry. Eminently quaffable. I think I paid around ~£15 for this so excellent PQR.

Purchased late 2024. Very enjoyable with moderately rich flavors and modest bubbles. Went down too quickly to remember much beyond the pleasure but entire table voted this as a good Champagne substitute.

2019 base. Maybe this was too old, as it didn't taste of a whole lot. I don't think it was flawed, just dilute and boring. I much prefer the regular Triple Zero, based on this showing.

Acheté en décembre 2022. Pas de notes précises. Bu après un mousseux québécois de méthode traditionnel assez dosé, il parait d’abord un peu léger. Par contre, il est tout avisé pour les huîtres, avec sa subtilité, sa droiture, sa minéralité. Très bon.

Purchased at the same time as the wine I reviewed in 2023 but to all intents a completely different wine. Pale. No cidery notes. Fresh. Only just discernible as chenin. Just wonderful grace and refinement on the palate. Fingers crossed for the remaining bottle.

Wonderful nose of honey and nuts and tarte tatin. The acidity remains fairly high, but with time I see this becoming a truly gorgeous example of clean Chenin. The pétillance is merely moderate, and dies a little in the glass, but it does give it a certain architecture on the palate.

Baked apple, nuts "Triple Zero" means zero chaptalisation, zero liquere de tirage, zero dosage. That implies the wine should be dry, but my tongue said it's off-dry. I don't know why it is. Anyway, the quality is fine. Worth try it under $30-40

This Chenin Blanc sparkler acquired in 2021 at the cellar door from wine legend Jacky Blot before his untimely passing, offers an intriguing Loire expression of the traditional Champagne method. No detailed notes but everyone at Thanksgiving dinner liked this. Enough fruit despite the zero dosage and a fairly complex nose. Brisk acidity which suggests this could age for a bit, maybe further deepening the complexity. Good value.

Peach color. Lots of fruit, melon and stone. Bone-dry acidity. Delightful bitterness.

‘19 bottling. These continue to be excellent and I’m sad this is my final bottle. Tarte au citron on the nose with some parsley stalk too, as well as bready notes and a little honey and dried fruit. Bone dry yet mouth coating and intense on the palate with plenty of acidity, though the mousse falls away fairly quickly and there’s a slightly tart element to the finish (which is perfectly consistent with the aromas).

This is a mesmerizing discovery and a mineral marvel created from unique blend of 95% Gamay and 5% Grolleau coming from Touraine in Loire, pretty unusual juice to put mildly. A very chill, pleasant nose of red currant and cherry driven fruit, seabreeze and faint autolytic notes. The mousse is persistent but perhaps a bit coarse. The palate is bone-dry with good acidity but not really austere and especially with food it is highly palatable. The berried red fruit is quite restrained, the absence of sugar probably plays a role in that, and the overall feel is very savory with zesty bite. There is not a ton of flavor here …

Light autolytic notes - a touch of nougat. Yellow apples too. Definitely high acidity but by no means searing, and with more generosity than many a zero-dosage champagne. And a furry label!

Pale salmon in the glass. Lots of red fruit on the palate. Light, fresh, light fizz, moderate finish. Fun wine, but wouldn't necessarily come back to it.

Gentle bubbles. Very dry, with a hint of red fruit. Nice and elegant.

Couleur saumon, tres grande richesse, on aurait cru un gros dosage, creme patissiere, peche blanche, belle longueur persistante.

Lovely combination of defined red fruits with a touch of patisserie, autolytic character; a touch of sweetness on the palate, lovely fruits, delicate flavour. Texturally really satisfying and complex.

Fun and funky sparkling rosé.

Small fine bubbles after initial fizz. Green apples on palate but with slight funkiness / volatile acidity.

Delicious. Light, faint citrus, easy drinking. Blends with many foods.
