My first experience with this wine. Very good, nice integration of oak, everything in place, but not exciting. I found this bottle to be a bit too mature, missing some vigor and freshness. Possibly a question of style.

Mild notes of grapefruit and cut grass on the nose, but lifting on the palate, with more grapefruit, lemon, and wet stones. Clean long finish. Not as complex as an earlier bottle I opened a few years back, but still, quite enjoyable.

Sorry for once I did not take much notes, so I recall badly the precise nose and palate, but still I remember the complexity and length of the wine. Nose with hints of petrol evolution, stone fruits gone more complex and mature , same with the grassy thiol notes of Sauf... really fantastic wine with length and a palate sharp and gaining in power with the age ... Excellent

Medium yellow. Pungent citrus on both the nose and palate with excellent feel and crackling acidity. Terrific Sancerre that still has a way to go.

Delicious. Very young. Great energy and life. All mineral and taut on attack. Finely detailed. Shows more herbal nuances on finish. Still has a lot of room to grow and develop. Excellent with spring vegetables like peas and sorrel. Revisit on 10th birthday.

Needs some minutes of aeration: a mix of apple, pear and citrus, even a hint of passion fruit, nice salinity, good density and length, will improve over the years, but already accessible and drinking well.

Rich and round at this point, drinking very nicely with no rough edges. For those of you who like your Sauvi's with a little bite, this one's not for you.

First time since around 5 years. Light to medium yellow colour. In the nose, this has some wet cardboard at first and is a bit muted, but with more air, it blossoms. Then it has gooseberry, lime and lemon in the nose, chalk and sea breeze. In the mouth, it's bone dry, tight, chalky, it has good acidity and great length, albeit in a bone dry and almost chalk-dusty way. Love it.

From a bottle opened last night at dinner. Light yellow in the glass, with a crisp/"brisk" nose that displays some characteristic grassy notes. Taut, with pronounced acidity on the palate. This was great last night with a pizza with brussel sprouts, feta and bacon, but on it's own it is almost severe. Serious wine, with years in front of it.

It's as if this had been kept at the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean. Could barely tell it was 16 years old. Beautiful interplay between just-starting-to-get-ripe fruits, saline minerality, acidity. Lovely.

I think this has gained considerable complexity since the last bottle that I had. It has really nice grapefruit, apple, and pear fruit combined with citrus, minerality and zippy acidity. It has a medium finish to it that lingers. Good Sauvignon Blanc.

I can't imagine this lasting until 2035, and why would you want it to? Almost clear with just the slightest tea tint to the wine. Hay, lemon in the nose. Snappy lemon, glacier and rock that follows through to a long finish. The acidity does come off as a bit of heat in the finish. Really good, drink any time.

Après une semaine ordinaire côté vin, voilà que j'ouvre ce superbe sancerre avec un risotto maison au hormard. J'avais de grandes attentes. Elles ont été comblées. Wow, un nez très présent sur la pêche, le citron, des fleurs blanches. C'est très expressif. En bouche, une salinité renversante sur une bouche longue et complexe. Un sancerre avec beaucoup de poids. Emballé ! 93 sur 100.

Le nez de celui-ci est plutôt discret mais nous donne tout de même une certaine impression de fraîcheur avec sa petite pointe d'agrume et de verdure. La bouche est bien tendu avec son fruité acidulé sur les agrumes tel que perçu au nez mais également sur des notes minérales et salines qui nous font saliver tout au long de la finale qui s'étire sur plusieurs secondes. Très bien, j'avais misé sur un chablis

Nez un peu évolué sur le foin et des notes de noix, sans oxydation prononcée. Pas la profondeur habituelle du cru, mais savoureux, tendu, avec une finale assez longue sur des notes salines et fruitées.

At its apogee. Had in Montreal at 'Lawrence.' Smoky, floral, herbal, no so much fruit. Definitely developed aromas. I have never had Sancerre like this that wasnt made by a Cotat. Palate is still alive and medium bodied. Great, bracing acidity. Finish goes on forever. A complete surprise and a wonderful one at that.

Noisette, une touche de fruits blancs mûrs, le nez est impeccable. Je le trouve un peu trop rond en bouche et manquant de mordant, mais la longueur est impressionnante. Be très belle tenue pour un blanc de cet âge.

Le plaisir de boire un vin à point. Élégance, puissance et rondeur, dans un même verre. Maturité parfaite du fruit, éclatant, riche, avec pointe saline. Les flaveurs végétales qu'on retrouve souvent avec ce cépage et décriées par plusieurs, sont intégrés à l'ensemble de façon impeccable. À son meilleur plus chaud que trop frais. Un grande réussite! 92-93
