Trying this again 4+ years on. Still quite meh with thick oak, stingy tropical fruit acidity, hint of white pepper. Alright with food pairing.

Festival of Alex - Clare Valley Cellar Doors : Pear, peach and vanilla. Rounded on the palate, quite rich fruit weight. Can taste some oak influence but it is well controlled. Medium length.
