Ivo Varbanov Chardonnay Eusebius

Full bodied, quite impressive bottle. The oak was dominating at opening, I decanted the wine to settle down and it showed a beautiful chardonnay fruit and a solid body that shine through out to the long finish. The wine spend 14 month in new 500 ltr Bulgarian oak barrels, but it handles it with ease and a potential for -3-5 years further development is present. Worth to buy another bottle to see how will evolve.
