Opens up nicely after opening bottle 45 min ahead. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry. It tastes like oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Thought we'd give making a wine reduction sauce a try with this, given that we really didn't want to drink it (life's too short to drink bad wine). Total disaster. We had to start over with a different bottle (as I rather surmised).
